Engraved frontispiece; A1r Title, verso blank; A2r-E6v Text.||(REF) Block (p. 11) records only an undated Birmingham edition; ESTC records (1780?) edition of The Female Rambler (British Library) as The Astonishing History &c, and a 'fourth edition' (1790), unique at Cambridge. A chapbook 'sixth edition' of (1825) appears in the British Library Catalogue; NUC locates two copies (MH, DLC), and one further copy of the undated Birmingham edition at MH.||(PRV) Accession no. 1223: with the bookplate of Lytton Strachey, designed by Dora Carrington; also with the bookplate of David Laing Philips||(PHY) Accession no. 1223: bound in later half green morocco, marbled boards, gilt lettering.
