(GEN) Gathering B in both volumes, which each consist of only 11 leaves, start at B2. Missing a half-title? *Gathering L in Volume II is problematic. It consists of two leaves only, which are conjugate. Gathering K terminates on p. 216 and the last leaf L1 is paginated 217 and 218. p. 218 finishes mid-sentence with the word ìjustî. The cognate last leaf, i.e. the last page, is numbered 231, with the verso blank, and p. 231 ends clearly with the word ëFinisí. It seems probable that gathering L should have contained 8 leaves, finishing on p. 232 (blank), and that the 6 leaves in that case missing were not bound in error. Alternatively, gathering L could be even smaller, of 2, 4, or 6 leaves, and the last page number could be a printerís error.
