Howard second daughter of the Early of Wilcklow aet. 19" while someone else has added - "Now in the [illegible] of the Blest (!) 1849." If you or any member of your family would care to have the book I shall be delighted to give it to you and will send it to any address you may give me. Yours very truly, J(?). A, D(L?)ardew (Colonel." Note added: "Wicklow(?) thanks would like book. 29/6/38".
