Also with the ownership inscription of Thomas Bailey, Nottinghamshire topographer and poet, author of a number of works including, A Sermon on the Death of Byron and The Rights of Labour. Thomas Baileyís son, Philip James Bailey, wrote the rather better known poem, ëFestusí.||(CON) [A]4, B-I12, K11, Contents.||(REF) This first edition appears to be unrecorded. The British Library has an 1811 reprint, which is attributed by BMC to ìMiss More, Teacher of Classicsí; ESTC lists a 1792 edition at Birmingham only; NUC locates a copy at Univ.
