Each work with its own frontispiece, and Anna Ross with five additional etched plates. With an ink signature dated 1852 of the name Gladstone, repeated in a slip after the title page of the second work, but this one dated November 5th, 1825.||(REF) * Block, p. 132, gives this as the first edition. However, Wolff 3777 lists the 3rd edition of 1826 only and states ìDNB and Allibone give 1823.î NUC gives no listing or location for this edition (the earliest UK edition is the 3rd edition of 1826) but gives a single location for an 1823 edition, published in Philadelphia by the American Sunday School Union.||(BIN) Full navy calf gilt, brown morocco label.
