(GEN) 130 pages plus blanks, with an index at the beginning, written in at least three hands, margins ruled in red ink.||(PRV) With the spade shield armorial bookplate of the Hon. Francis Needham (c. 1780 - 1820), and another bookplate, modern, of the initials A.G.T.||(PHY) Bound in red morocco, richly gilt and with areas painted black and grey, with drawer-handle tools, pointille leaves and quandrilobaes, small stars, etc. broad border decorated in the same style, spine similarly tooled, engraved silver cornerpieces, catches, and one clasp, gilt and gauffered edges, painted with flowers, marbled endpapers.
