(GEN) 173 pages, 50 of them unused. Dated on spine 1768. A full account book for a lady, providing a good record of a well-to-do woman of the period. Entries for 1810-11 include, pocket book, visiting cards, mending broach, pencil, skain of silk, Dr. Latham, amber ribbon, a pair of muffs, buns, a bit of beading, watch string, gloves, slippers, 'Mr. Henderson for drawing & cleaning my teeth,' a blue flower, black petticoat, and others.||(REF) ||(BIN) Full red morocco wallet binding, elaborately gilt, metal clasp.||(GEN) Research by visiting fellow Hilary Davidson uncovered this to be written by Mrs Mary Topham. Published in 'The Female Spectator' Vol.1, No.2, 2015.
